Minnow’s sitter has a Sesame Street Video…Sesame Street–Do The Alpahbet.  I knew how much Minnow liked it as the video case is the first thing he goes for at the sitters.  We were at Blockbuster this weekend getting movies–which of course we really never have time to watch, but we keep trying.  Minnow loves to help pick out movies.  He was looking through the family videos with hubby when I hear this shriek from across the store and my child screaming “ba bid, ba bid”  (big bird fro those of you who don’t speak 18 month old gibberish).  He caught sight of the video and it sounded as though he had just struck gold.  I guess in his little toddler mind he did.  So for the past 3 days I have learned the alphabet in a whole new way. 

We also went to toys r us this weekend to get Minnow a basketball hoop.  My dad has one and Minnow had fun playing with it.  So we got one.  Minnow is quite the b-baller.  He plays “ba ba bll” (basketball) for tens of minutes at a time.  They are his two new favorite things.  He likes it when we play ball with him too of course–we mostly when “da da” plays with him.  I have some great video of him playing and getting ready to shoot his basket.  He makes these incredibly cute little boy sounds as he prepares for what I imagine is the game winning shot.  It is adorable.  I will try to post that video later this week. 

He keeps growing and changing….does anyone have a way to stop that?  He is too cute now and I wish time would move a little slower.  Well I am being summoned to play “ba ba bll” here’s to hoping I can beat my toddler.  He is pretty good.
