We do not shop on Black Friday. There is something very off putting about the over the top consumption perpetuated by Black Friday that exemplifies some of the deep-rooted ways that big companies manipulate us to think we need things we don’t.

On a related note-the kids make their Christmas lists today.

The kids want pretty simple things and only a few things which makes me happy. I like that they only want a couple things and they are relatively simple requests.
