I can’t believe that I forgot to post yesterday.  I had the window open, but then got distracted helping Noah with his homework and then playing a very intense game of Monkey in the Middle.

I’ll give myself some credit for making it 25 straight days.  That is impressive in and of itself as I don’t know that I have posted many more than 25 times all year.  Writing has taken a backseat–well at least my writing here.  I do plenty of “writing for work” and for that little thing called a dissertation.  But it isn’t the same. I miss writing here and this month has reminded me of that.  I also have to acknowledge that I am busy and just like in my work life–I need structure for this space.  So, I’ll be giving some thought to some regular topics and a weekly schedule.  This will certainly help me focus my writing more as will a dedicated writing time.
