Through the Fog or Day 30

This is my last post for the month of november and because of that I wish I really had something profound to write about.  But sadly, I don’t.  I am at the end of my semester for school and I am neck deep in literary theory on urban commodification and lonlienss as well as writing theory about writing to learn and writing across the curriculum.  I am sure a small few of you might find all of that tantilizing and exciting blog fodder–me at this point, not so much.

I am happy to say that I did it this time around and finished.  I will try and get mysefl an I Did It Badge over at the official website–but right now I have to go wait in line at the DMV to get my plates renewed as they expire today.  Thank you for tuning in.  It has been a blast.

So It Starts or Day 1…

The great task of posting for 30 consecutive days.  I am determined this year.  Last year, sadly I failed.  I was busy with a new baby and well frankly, my life just isn’t that interesting for me to post something profound every day.  I have a hard time now just posting 3 or so days a week.

First off, I want to say a big thanks to those of you who have given me feedback on my cafe press store.  I am excited about it, even though I haven’t sold anything yet.  I look forward to being able to donate great amounts of money to the school sponsorship program in Ethiopia once I start selling items.  I have put up some new t-shirts.  They aren’t adoption related but I think they are fun.  I am going to purchase a couple and then I will post pics of them so you can really see them.

Halloween was great.  Minnow was an awesome lion.  We put him in his costume and asked him what a lion says and her roared for about 25 minutes. It was terribly cute and precious.  I am so thankful for video.  He also has a fondness for milky way bars–he certainly is my son.

This month is also Adoption Awareness month, so there will be much talk about adoption, especially as the referral wait slowly gets closer to that impending day when we get to meet our baby girl for the first time.  We have already named her–yes I know it is weird, but I will wait to create a nickname for her until we receive our referral.

Well, I hope to keep you all entertained this month.  Please tune in often and I will get the Nablopomo randomizer set up in my side bar so that you can visit some of the other crazed folks who feel that their lives just aren’t crazy enough.  Sit back and enjoy the inflight movie…someone will be around with drinks shortly.

Gearing Up

Yes, I am going to be crazy again this year and do Nablopomo again this year.  My posting will be minimal until it kicks off on Thursday.  So stay tuned through out the month of november for 30 straight days of posting….

Also, posting will be mild until Thursday as hubby is on a business trip so I get to be the lone parent for a few days.  Hope all is well.

First, The Middle Name Meme:

Rules: You must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of your middle name. If you don’t have a middle name, use the middle name you would have liked to have. When you are tagged, you need to write your own blog post containing your own middle name game facts. At the end of your blog post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged and to read your blog.

This one is tricky as I legally changed my middle name and replaced it with my maiden name when I got married.  But I still feel an attachment to my given middle name as it was mine for 29+ years so I guess I will use that.
