Kids are asleep. Husband outside. Me inside. Perfectly quiet and still. If only for a few hours anyway. Perfect.

Embracing Imperfection 
Early, early in the morning, when the birds first wake up and start singing. Bonus points for hot coffee and a comfy place to sit in the outdoors while watching everything ~except~ my kiddo wake up.

A summer afternoon, when the house is tidy, laundry finally caught up, sitting outside with a drink and book while watching the kids run through the sprinkler.
I also love it when they are all finally asleep 🙂

Oh yes, when all the little angels are asleep and it’s still light outside. I love to sit on my bed..read..watch tv and look out at the trees. I also love reading the paper in the morning (which I now will not get to do again for about 2 years) while the kids play or watch cartoons.
